Story - The Dirty Picture

Based on the proper story on the life of South Indian Sensation Silk Smitha, The Dirty Picture is directed by Milan Luthria (Once Upon A Time now Mumbai) and stars Vidya Balan, Tusshar Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Emraan Hashmi.

Silk, was a make-up comedian who became an add-on (background dancer) and in that case the nearly everyone wanted heroine of the primitive 1980s. Chronicling the sudden growth and steep fall of the erstwhile screen sensation, The Dirty Picture is hardheaded in opposition to the colorful and entertaining backdrop of the South Indian film industry, which was dominated by the male superstars in the 80s.

The standard alarm bell, Silk, knew her audiences and it didn’t seem like no matter which would break off the ambitious superstar, plow it did, in the form of unrequited love.
To the humankind and her fans, Silk was the queen of sensuality. But by the side of central point, she was right like at all other woman yearning in favor of love in a unfeeling humankind.
